Our mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.

The overall purpose of PTA is to MAKE EVERY CHILD’S POTENTIAL A REALITY by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

For the 2015-16 school year, the SMFC PTA Council will FOCUS ON SUPPORTING AND NURTURING LEADERS so they can MORE EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY FACILITATE PROGRAMS that help to ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCES OF STUDENTS in their schools throughout the District. We will do this through:

  • peer to peer interactions
  • PTA-specific trainings
  • timely resources
  • information exchange
  • forums
